When your loved ones aren’t all under one roof, much less in the same area code, holidays can be tough. My wife and I have had our hands full, but we both miss Aamrie. It’s times like the holidays when being apart is hardest.
Even the little things, like cuddling on the couch, with a fire in the fireplace, sipping eggnog, listening to Christmas music, we missed Aamrie. Of course, it’s been worse for Aamrie. She’s all alone. This is when long-distance relationship is hardest, those times when you want all your loved ones together.
Finding your loved ones is only half the battle. The rest of the fight is getting everyone into the same zip code, and being able to spend quality time on a regular basis. That’s where we are now, getting to the happy ending.
